EEGC Ranges & History

Six ranges and a classroom serve members and the public — from a 100-yard public range to a dedicated 200-yard rifle range.

100-Yard Public Range

EEGC

Open 10 AM–4 PM, Thursday through Sunday (closed New Year’s Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). EEGC provides paper bullseye targets, rifle block rests, sandbags, and a limited supply of spotting scopes. Concessions include hearing and eye protection, soda, water, chips, and candy.

200-Yard Member Range

EEGC

Used for rifle competitions including benchrest matches, offhand shoots, and Civilian Marksmanship Program matches. April through August the 200-yard range closes at 7:30 PM.

Two Pistol / Rifle Member Ranges

EEGC

Our pistol/rifle range extends to 100 yards with 30 covered benches, alongside a smaller rifle and pistol range. We host pistol competitions and other events throughout the year.

Shotgun Member Range

EEGC

Our shotgun group is very active, holding competitive shoots throughout the year.

Archery Member Range

A dedicated archery range is available to members Tuesday–Sunday, 8 AM to sunset.

Classroom & Instruction

A 1991 grant from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife helped build a large classroom used for events and activities. Our club and local instructors teach new shooters and others who want to learn more about firearm safety and the shooting sports.
